Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
